Objectives:

  1. To share information and experiences related to the Obsolete Pesticides Stockpiles in "Developing Countries" such as the current status, actual problems and causes of the obsolete pesticides together with the ongoing effortsmto solve the problems.
  2. Especially to focus on discussing problems caused by the & quot;International Aid" in order to prevent further accumulation of the Obsolete Pesticides. *Ex. The problem of the Japanese aid (Grant Aid for the Increase of Food Production: so called 2KR)
  3. To learn some efforts made in Asia and Africa for sustainable development of rural area, then to discuss the possibilities of these efforts and the desirable international cooperation for sustainable development of rural area.

!!!! The most important aim is to create an opportunity for the people of "South" and "North" to exchange experiences and ideas & to facilitate an Aid Policy Shift!!!!!
